About us
My story begins in an environment where everything was made with care and attention. At home, with family and in my environment, almost everything was unique: from food and flowers to traditions. Everything had a story, everything felt personal. That world of craft and love of creation has always inspired and shaped me.
I grew up in a traditional Javanese family Where cooking brought us together. From my grandmother and mother, I learnt the love of preparing meals and delicacies, both savoury and sweet. One of the bakes that always evokes special memories is pandan chiffon cake - the smell alone brings me back to those warm, familiar moments.
When I moved to the Netherlands, I took those memories with me. At home, I created my own world, where traditions of the past stay alive - in stories, cooking and enjoying food together. The idea that something is made with attention and care gives a sense of peace, meaning and connection that I wanted to preserve.
To express my creativity, I returned to something I always loved: cooking, both savoury and sweet. For a long time, I took it for granted, until I noticed that my family appreciated and delighted in my food and baking every time. This gave me the insight that with baking and cooking, I was can share more than taste - I can give memories, love and joy. Here in the kitchen, I discover the magic of baking, where every ingredient, recipe and cake is made with love.
